CleaniXair

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information CleaniXair collects when you use this website or book our AC services, why we collect it and how we look after it. Last updated: 1 October 2026.

1. Who we are

CleaniXair provides air conditioner cleaning, servicing, repair, installation and gas refill services. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean CleaniXair, and “you” means anyone who visits cleanixair.com or uses our services. Our contact details are listed on the Contact page.

2. Information we collect

We collect only the information we need to arrange and carry out a service visit and to run this website:

  • Booking details — your name, phone number, email address (optional), the service you need, the number of units and your preferred visit time.
  • Service address — the address where the work will be carried out, which we take by phone when confirming the booking.
  • Unit information — brand, size, location in the property and the readings taken during each visit, recorded on your service note.
  • Payment records — the amount, date and method of payment. We do not store card numbers or mobile wallet PINs.
  • Website data — technical information such as browser type, pages visited and approximate time of visit, collected through cookies and server logs.

3. How we use your information

  • To confirm, schedule and carry out the visits you book.
  • To call or message you about your booking, including reminders and changes.
  • To prepare quotes, invoices and service notes, and to keep a history of the work done on each unit.
  • To handle guarantee claims, complaints and refunds.
  • To keep the website secure, prevent spam submissions and understand which pages are useful.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for marketing unrelated to the services you have asked for.

We process your information because it is necessary to provide the service you request, because we have a legitimate interest in running and improving our business safely, because we have a legal obligation (for example keeping financial records), or because you have given consent — such as agreeing to receive service reminders. You can withdraw consent at any time.

5. Sharing your information

Your information is shared only where needed to deliver the service:

  • With the CleaniXair technicians assigned to your visit.
  • With service providers who host this website, send emails or process payments on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations.
  • With authorities where the law requires it.

We never share your details with other businesses for their own marketing.

6. How long we keep it

Booking and service records are kept for as long as you remain a customer and for up to five years after your last visit, so we can honour guarantees and keep accurate unit histories. Financial records are kept for the period required by law. Booking form submissions that do not lead to a visit are deleted within twelve months.

7. How we protect it

We use secure, access-controlled systems, encrypted connections (HTTPS) on this website, strong passwords and limited staff access. Paper service notes are stored securely and destroyed when no longer needed. No method of storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and review them regularly.

8. Your rights

You may ask us to:

  • Give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Delete your information where we no longer need it.
  • Stop sending service reminders or other messages.
  • Restrict or object to certain uses of your information.

Send your request to info@cleanixair.com. We will respond within thirty days and may need to confirm your identity first.

9. Cookies

This website uses a small number of cookies to work properly and to understand how it is used. Our Cookie Policy explains each type and how to control them.

10. Children’s privacy

Our services and this website are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
